IMPORTANT SCOPE
The learning platform will receive its own expanded policy.
Curiosity Tree is still being developed. Privacy practices for parent accounts, student profiles, adaptive learning, tutor interactions, assessments, and records will be documented before those features collect personal information.
The complete policy
Built for informed family decisions.
“Curiosity Tree,” “we,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website. “You” means a visitor or early-access subscriber.
01
Information we collect
We collect an email address only when a visitor voluntarily submits the early-access form. The form also records a general source label so we know the signup came from the Curiosity Tree website.
Depending on where these static files are hosted, the hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, and access time—to deliver and protect the website. Curiosity Tree does not currently create visitor accounts or collect student coursework, grades, payment information, precise location, or sensitive educational records through this marketing website.
02
How we use information
We use submitted email addresses to send product news, curriculum previews, launch information, beta opportunities, surveys, and related Curiosity Tree updates. We may also use information to respond to requests, maintain the early-access list, prevent duplicate or fraudulent signups, and protect the website.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use early-access emails for third-party behavioral advertising or allow unrelated companies to market their products through our list.
03
Service providers
We may rely on website hosting, email-delivery, security, and professional-service providers. They may process information only as needed to provide their services or meet legal obligations.
04
Cookies and analytics
Curiosity Tree does not currently place advertising cookies or use analytics trackers on this marketing website. The site does not use browser storage to build visitor profiles.
A future hosting or security provider may use strictly necessary technologies or server logs to deliver the website, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. If Curiosity Tree later introduces analytics, advertising, or optional cookies, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those tools are enabled.
05
Children and student information
This marketing website and its early-access form are intended for parents, guardians, educators, and other adults. Children under 13 should not submit the form, and parents should not submit a child's email address. If we learn that a child submitted personal information through this website, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
The future Curiosity Tree learning platform will involve different information and protections. Before student accounts, coursework, or learner records are collected, we will publish an expanded privacy policy and implement age-appropriate parental notice, consent, access, security, and deletion procedures where required.
06
Retention, choices, and requests
We keep an early-access email while the list remains active or until the subscriber asks us to remove it, unless a longer period is required for security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Each marketing message will provide a way to unsubscribe.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted. Reply to any Curiosity Tree email with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. A dedicated privacy contact will be published before the website's public launch. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
07
Security, transfers, and legal disclosures
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information this website collects, including restricted access to the early-access Sheet. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business reorganization where permitted by law.
08
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the website, early-access program, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when material changes are made. If a change meaningfully affects how an existing subscriber's information is used, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
Questions and requests
Privacy should be easy to understand.
Until a dedicated privacy address is published, subscribers can reply directly to any Curiosity Tree update to ask a question or request access, correction, or deletion.
